Judith Skillman paints expressionist works in oil on canvas. She is interested in feelings engendered by the natural world, as well as the play of light in still life. She has been a featured artist in About Place and Field Guide Magazine. In addition, her art has appeared in Windmill, Artemis, The Penn Review, Twenty-two Twenty-eight, and other journals. Skillman has studied at McDaniel College, the Pratt Fine Arts Center, and SAL (Seattle Artist League).
