Stargazer

Shoot through the sky on your violet rays,
Ride the solar flares to victory.
The last of humanity brought you to light the way.
An endless night, a trifecta of doom.
You skated on rollerblades with pink wheels,
Hair the colour of candyfloss – eyes brighter than Orion.
Red sunglasses despite the incoming clouds.
Headphones playing a symphony of something new,
Roll on by.

A lone star on a tired world,
A ball of lighting in a mini skirt.
There were stars on her tights,
and her laces were made out of moonbeams.
Strike me down – bring me to life.
Condemn me with all your might. Smite me.
Just let me watch.
